What is E-Learning and how will it help me?
E-Learning is electronically supported learning and teaching. It can be self-paced or instructor led. It is delivered by the internet including images, animation, video streaming and audio. It is a cost effective, convenient learning method.
What are the advantages of using E-Learning?
It’s flexible, it can be scheduled around your personal and work schedules making it very time efficient. There are no travel costs which can be incurred with traditional “live” training. It’s tailored to your needs, with self-paced learning and you can select your learning materials that meet your knowledge and interest.
Where can I find out more about E-Learning?
What does an E-Learning course usually involve for participants?
You watch video, audio and animation content; learning is assisted through interactive question sections and additional written content which can be viewed later.

How do I order the course?

How can I pay for the course?
You can purchase the course at https://www.kintish.co.uk/product-category/e-learning, our website takes credit and debit cards. Alternatively, call the office on +44 (0) 161 773 3727 to be issued with an invoice.
How much does a module cost?
Each part costs £25 + VAT when bought separately; however, the full course can be purchased for £80 + VAT.
I do not have an email address. Can I still register with E-Learning?
No, you need to set up an email account for us to securely send you your login details.
I have entered my details incorrectly, can I alter them?
Yes, once you have logged in to the system you can use the My Profile section to alter your information. If you have registered the wrong email address then please contact the office on +44 (0) 161 773 3727.
What do I get when purchasing an E-Learning course?
Once you have purchased a course, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to login to the LMS and view the course.
Watching the Course
How do I log into the course?
Click the link provided in your confirmation email and log-in to the system using your email and password.

What happens if I use all 4 of my tokens?
If you have not completed the course but used all of your tokens please contact us for further assistance.
What are the system requirements?
You will need a computer with either Windows or Mac, a web browser such as Firefox or Google Chrome, and an Internet connection. Your computer will also need to be able to display Flash content.
Is the training available in other languages?
Not at this time, the training is only available in English.
How do I get back to the home page?
When you log in to the E-Learning system, the first page is the home page. You can navigate back to this at any time using the menu on the left hand side of the screen. When you watch the sections these play in a new window or tab, the E-Learning system area stays open so simply pause the video and switch tab or window to return.
Why do I need an internet connection? Can I watch it without the internet?
The E-Learning system is hosted on an internet server; it cannot run without an internet connection.
Do I have to log on from the same computer every time?
No, your login details can be used on any computer with an internet connection.
Do I have to watch the sections in order?
We would recommend that you watch the sections in order. However, you can skip to whichever part you wish using the menu on the left hand side.
How do I view full-screen?
Click the square icon in the bottom right hand corner when playing the course.
If I pause the course for too long will my session time out?
No, only if you lose internet connection or log-out.
Do I need headphones?
We recommend that you use headphones to maximise your learning, however it is possible to watch the program using speakers instead.
What if I’ve missed a section?
You can click back to any section at any time during the course using the menu on the left hand side of the screen.
How long does the training take?
If played continuously each part will take approximately an hour each; however, the course can be paused at any time.
Can I use it with a colleague?
We recommend that the training be undertaken individually; remember that answers to the questions are personal to your own style and experience.
How many times can I use it?
You are given 4 tokens to view each of the parts. Once the tokens are used up you will still have access to the system but will be unable to view the course.
How do the viewing tokens work?
Each token allows access to the course. Each time a Part of the course is viewed a token is used. You have four tokens to use for each part; this allows you to split the training into smaller sections or to re-watch the training again.
Where can I get tokens from?
You are given 4 tokens per part of the course; that’s 16 if you purchase the full 4 part course.
Where do my responses go? Can I access them after I’ve finished?
Your answers will be saved in our database. You may view them by accessing your profile in the E-Learning system.
Can I buy extra tokens?
If you haven’t completed the course but have run out of tokens please contact us. You cannot purchase individual tokens but you may buy the course again and receive 4 tokens.
Which browser should I use?
We recommend you use any of the following web browsers:
- Internet Explorer 9 or greater
- Mozilla Firefox 5 or greater
- Google Chrome 12 or greater
- Safari 5 or greater
- Opera 12 or greater
Older browser versions may work, but we do not guarantee full compatibility.
Are demonstrations of your courses available?

Can I access a module more than once?
Yes, as long as you have tokens available.
Why do I only have 4 views?
By having 4 tokens you can either watch the video in shorter sections, or once all the way through and use the remaining three to return to review the training again.
How long will I have access to the module for?
Access is not time limited, you may take as long as you need.
Can I track my progress?
Yes, the system remembers where you left off. There is also a progress bar at the bottom of the screen as you watch.
Do I need to download a plug-in?
Your web browser will need to have Flash enabled.
Can I view the videos from previous modules after moving to a new module?
Yes, as long as you have tokens left you can use the menu on the left to revisit any module at any time.
Can I stop and come back to the training videos on another day?
Yes, of course, as long as you have tokens left.
Can I download the modules to my machine to view offline?
No, for data security reasons the modules can only be viewed online.
I would like to let someone else use my account to view the modules that I purchased. Is that allowed?
No, your login is designed to be individual to you so you can track your own personal progress.
How can I provide feedback about these E-Learning courses?
Yes, at the end of each module there is a feedback form, by filling this in you will be given access to the additional resources section.
I am not based in the UK. Will I be charged VAT?
No, if you are not a UK resident VAT will not be charged.
How do I access the resources button?
Once you have filled out the feedback form at the end of each part and sent it to us, you will be able to proceed to the Resources slide. This slide will have a link to a Resources section on our website.
What if the content, sound or video doesn’t load?
Try refreshing the page, if this does not work please make sure you are connected to a strong internet connection. Connection when in public places or on trains may be very slow and intermittent, we recommend against viewing the course in places such as these. If you are still experiencing problems please contact us for technical support.
It won’t play on my iPad or iPhone – what can I do?
The system is not compatible with any Apple mobile devices, including iPads, iPhones or iPods. Please use a computer or other device capable of displaying Flash content.
What do I do if the sound stops working?
Please refresh the page; alternatively pause the course and wait for more of the course to buffer before continuing.
What do I do if my screen freezes?
Try refreshing the page, if this doesn’t work, close any additional programs which require an internet connection and try again. If your browser becomes non-responsive, you may need to restart your web browser. Please contact us if this does not resolve the issue.
How do I report a broken link?
Please let us know by emailing email@example.com.
What do I do if the training videos run slowly?
Please pause the video and allow the video to download first before continuing. A few minutes should be sufficient to download a video, depending on the quality of your internet connection.
Whilst watching a training video, I lost the internet connection or my system crashed, can I re-access the video?
Yes, just connect to the internet and refresh; or restart your system and log in again.
My company has a firewall. Will that affect my ability to use the course?
No, it shouldn’t. However, if it does, you will need to request that your IT Administrator allow access to our website.

What if I forget my password?
If you have forgotten your login details please contact us so that we can reset the password for you.
